کارت خوان تماسی :
کارت خوان تماسی به کارت خوانی می گویند که برای برقراری ارتباط، به یک اتصال فیزیکی بین کارت و کارت خوان نیاز دارد که توسط قرار دادن کارت در درون کارت خوان برقرار می شود. این نوع کارت خوان ها ساده ترین نوع کارت خوان برای برنامه های کاربردی مانند شناسه کاربری و ذخیره سازی دیتا است. ارتباطات این کارت خوان طبق استاندارد ISO 7816 است.
